Has won the recognition from ship owners for shipbuilding products, and has obtained the approved certificates of quality management system of ISO9001 and ISO2000. According to the requirement of first class international shipbuilding company, Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. Has seized the opportunity of development to conduct the overall arrangement of production and technology of the shipbuilding section of Haixiwan Base, to construct high effective and first class competitive general installation shipyard of large size ships and/or vessels, through advanced hardware facilities, excellent production flow, reasonable technological overall arrangement, information modernization of management and digitization of production, and to conduct synchronal operations of ¡°constructions planning, order forms undertaking and personnel training¡±. After completion of construction of shipbuilding section, the company will mainly undertake the shipbuilding projects of large sized tankers, large sized bulk cargo vessels, large sized container ships, FPSO, and the annual gross of shipbuilding will reach more than 3,000,000 dwt. At present, the company has undertaken the hull design and building project of 100,000 dwt FPSO for South Sea Xijiang Oil Field of CNOOC (China National Offshore Oil Corp.), and will complete the FPSO project in Dec.2007, with the marine classification of BV.
